Here at Hilltop Sauna we want you to have the best experience possible, so here are a few bits of info that will help you out before you arrive for your unwinding session or class.
Arrival Time- Its recommended that you arrive 10 minutes before the start of your session to get briefed about the site and change if needed.
Toilet- There is a toilet on site however its a 2 minute walk up the hill and you will need to get the key from the reception area.
What to wear- Swim wear, flip flops or easily removed sandals with no metal and a robe or dry robe depending on the weather.
Changing and showers- We do have changing tents and a cold shower facility. But its recommended you turn up ready for action and change after a rinse in the shower.
Sauna Tents- We have sourced the best sauna tents available that provide a true sensation of a real wilderness sauna. Please be careful not to lean or touch the walls as these may be hot!
Cool Dip Pond- The water quality is checked every 48 hours to ensure the health and safety of patrons and is checked for harmful bacteria. As the pool is naturally filtered through a bog there may be occasions when we have to rest the pond. Cold showers are provided on the deck area on these occasions. However we aim to have the pond open during all open hours.
Terrain- We use bark to create woodland paths over the hillside, and this can be soft underfoot so please be careful when moving around the site. If you have mobility issues please contact us before booking as we can assess your needs before arrival.
Disabled Access- At present we are working hard to provide disabled access via the event deck.
Age of use-
Under 14s are not permitted.
Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult.
*Behavior on site- Must Read* Abuse of any kind towards staff and other patrons will not be tolerated. Rude or provocative behavior will result in instant removal from site, If you see or suspect this in anyway please seek a member of staff immediately.
